Generally, there are two primary types of Vampires, and the rest are subsets of these two. The primaries are “Sanguine Vampires” and “Psychic/Psi Vampires.”
Sanguine Vampires:
Feed on the fluids of the human body, generally focused on the Blood.
The Subsets of this group will feed on sexual fluids like semen and vaginal juices or secretions. Sexual vampires are referred to as “Succubi” (Female) and “Inccubi” (Male).
Psychic/Psi Vampires:
Feed on Psychic, Emotional, and Astral or Spiritual energy. Often these energies will be part of the Aura, or the “Subtle/Ethereal body“.
The subsets of this group will feed on the Breath of the living known as “Prana” which is a Sanskrit word meaning “Life Giving Breath” which gives rise to the Pranic Vampires.
Tantric Vampires, are another subset of the Psychic Vampire… They feed exclusively on “sexual energy” without the need for intercourse. Tantric Vamps are often Pranic Vampires, who not only feed on sexual energy but also on the life giving breath. Which leads us to the third catagory of Vampire.
The Hybrid Vampire:
Most Vampires are Hybrid, meaning that they utilize many feeding methods. Sanguinarians might specifically feed on human blood, but not exclusively… They will often feed energetically as well, even if they prefer the blood.
The most varied group of hybrids can be found in the Psychic and Pranic Vampire groups; as they have more freedom to explore various methods of absorbing a variety of life force types… be they energies drawn from the breath, or the aura, or the mind or spirit.
