Blood is a controversial subject where ever you go. It is even a controversial and divisive subject within the Greater Vampire Community (GVC). Everyone has an opinion and a belief which is revolved around the use and the consumption of blood in ritual or recreational settings. Generally because of all of the potential dangers that are introduced into the situation whenever blood is involved.
Bloodborne diseases such as Hepatitis B Virus (HBV), Hepatitis C Virus (HBC), Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), Auto Immunodeficiency Disease (AIDS), Malaria, Syphilis, Brucellosis, West Nile Virus, and many more. I urge you to please do your own research to ensure that you have become sufficiently aware of the dangers presented by Bloodborne Pathogens. (Many of these diseases are transmitted through other bodily fluids such as saliva, urine, semen and vaginal secretions… even tears.)
As you can imagine, the variables for potential dangers are numerous and the gamble is very high risk. A good majority of Sanguine Vampires feed with a bond of trust in their Donors; having faith that their Donors word can be taken at face value, and that they wouldn’t lie about blood test results in order to be given the benefit of the doubt.
The odds are against you anyway you look at it. Even with regular testing and blood screening, the fallibility of the human beings involved on all sides of this practice, leaves the great potential for variables to go overlooked and miscounted. Sometimes doctors call you days or weeks after handing you your blood screening results… to inform you that they have accidentally given you the wrong results.
In that window of time, if you had actually tested positive for a bloodborne pathogen but were not aware of it… you could have spread that virus to numerous unsuspecting people. Sanguinarians play a HUGE gamble with their own lives and the lives of their Donors when feeding with and without caution.
I personally stopped consuming blood by the year 2008 seven years after my initiation. Luckily all of my results came back leaving me in the clear when I quit, and I still get regularly tested today even though I am a recluse and practice abstinence (for personal reasons).
The consumption of blood is not a practice I recommend, but I won’t judge you for indulging in it. I miss the euphoria of it myself. Fortunately for me I am not a “Medical Vampire” who professes a physical medical need to consume human blood for health reasons. For them it is a necessity… Whether this is true or not, is not for me to decide; although I do have my opinions on the matter. In the end what you do in private is entirely your own business. So long as what you do does not bleed into my own sanctuary, and sphere of influence and circle of protected individuals… I won’t make it my business.
There are very few people that the Misanthropic Vampire actually likes enough to shroud them under their own veil of protection. When a Vampire claims you, no other beast of the field is to come near you.
Vampires protect their wards from the manipulation tactics and rhetoric of other predatory vampires. No one feeds upon you without the expressed permission of your Vampire ward, even if you are a willing donor. You must clear that decision with your ward first, before any action can take place. Failure to consult your Vampire ward before becoming a donor to another beast, can result in your veil of protection being revoked… because you have rejected the wards protection by undermining their authority which is a grave offense.
Vampires operate on certain codes of conduct, etiquette and honorable nobility. Nearly all social interactions among vampires are high stakes, where winner takes all! and its lives that are at stake.
So when a Vampire, chooses to claim you as their ward… Its like a mother defending her child from predators… Your ward is declaring, that they are prepared to kill in order to protect you… so long as you accept that protection. If you reject the Vampires protection, all bets are off and the wolves can have you. It is not common for a Vampire to take you under their wing again after you have undermined their authority. You become a lost cause to that particular beast… and you’ll have to search for a new beast to ward you.
Whats unfortunate is that often the rules of the game are pretty much never spoken. So everything is played by feel. The Vampires know the code, but the innocents don’t. The rule is we cant force you to accept our guidance, mentorship or protection. Its allot like being given some advice… its entirely up to you whether you are going to heed that advice or go against it. If we say not to do something and you go on an do the thing we explicitly told you not to do!… You have demonstrated that you do not trust your ward. and that! to a Vampire is an offense akin to getting spat in the face. You can go Fuck yourself! from that point on.
The protection of a Vampire is not limited to physical threats. They ward off dangers to your psychological, emotional, and spiritual well being. No poltergeist dare enter domains infested by vampires. Because we absorb and consume energetic anomalies or anything resembling a spiritual essence. If you can see the face behind the veil of the Vampires human vessel... You'd see a very ..... VERY! frightening demon. That even you would be frightened to have around you, let alone in the same room with you. Its better to have the Devil on your side rather than against you.
VAMPIRE BELIEFS ABOUT THE SYMBOLISM OF THE BLOOD:
Vampires have associated a variety of beliefs in concern to the symbolic representation of blood.
Most notably, the most famous association among vampires is “The Blood is Life” which comes from the Christian bible in the books of Leviticus, Genesis, and Deuteronomy. and its echoed through out the book in various verses. But Leviticus 17:14 gives us ritualistic reasons for drinking the flesh as a Satanic act of rebellion and rejection of the Christian faith.
Leviticus: Chapter 17 verse 14 which states as follows:
“For it is the life of all flesh. Its blood sustains its life. Therefore I said to the children of Israel, ‘You shall not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. anyone who does this will no longer belong to my people.”Genesis: Chapter 9 verse 4 states as follows:
But flesh with its life, its blood, you shall not eat.
Deuteronomy: Chapter 12 verse 23 also states:
Only be sure that you eat not the blood: for the blood is the life; and you may not eat the life with the flesh.
In the initiation into Vampirism, the act of drinking blood is a defining moment of choosing a path which rejects the influence of Abrahamic religious sensibilities. It is a divorce from your ties to that triad of ideological dogmatism. (The triad of Abraham is Judaism, Islam, and Christianity) whose god turns away from those who consume the Life Blood. Unless it is the symbolic blood of Christ in the case of Catholicism and Christianity as a whole.
Vampires will also say that: “its not the blood itself, which is the lifeforce… but that the blood acts as a catalyst for the consumption of the lifeforce which is carried within it.” Therefore it only counts if you are drinking the blood directly from the flesh of a living human being. And yes, it is specifically and exclusively Human Blood which must be consumed.
Its why the running joke in the community is that “Vampires are just cannibals on a liquid diet.”
IN THE ORDO VIPRIMAE: BLOOD IS THE ANCESTRAL MEMORY
I am head of the Ordo Viprimae, which is the Vampirism Sect of the Luciferian Order. In the order I make distinctions between what is associated with the blood and what is associated with the life-force.
The distinction is that “The Blood is Memory” or that the memories of our ancestors is carried within the blood. That your past life regressions aren’t lives you have lived, but the memories of the lives of your ancestors whose memories you have inherited in your blood and in general genetic composition. The lineage of your genetic code spans as far back within the evolutionary history of mankind, from the point of when we were merely Microbes at the bottom of the sea. You will have memories of worms, fish, insects, lizards, rodents, flying squirrels, various monkeys and apes, along with the memories of every human ancestor who has contributed their genetic code from generation to generation. Which eventually lead up to you being born or incarnated in the body you currently possess.
Through certain ritual practices, you can learn how to tap into the memories of everyone that has ever lived, that is connected to you through a direct link in bloodline.
Therefore the Ritual act of consuming blood in initiation into the Ordo Viprimae, is the sacred act of becoming family. My blood becomes your blood, and your blood becomes mine. Your memories become my memories, and mine become yours.
It is through accessing ancestral memory that we can learn how to recall certain skills or talents which belonged to a distant ancestor. You can go from one day not knowing how to draw a stick figure or a straight line, to the next with the ability to produce masterful works of art. The same can be harnessed when channeling the spirit of warrior ancestors to learn how to fight, or tapping into the thoughts of a philosophical ancestor. Or maybe even a craftsman.
Sometimes you enter certain areas of your life that you have not been previously exposed to, and somehow just know what to do in those situations purely on instinct. There are cases of people who visit ancestral lands which they’ve never visited before, and instinctively know how to navigate their surroundings. or to understand the local language which you never learned. Its just part of you.
Sometimes in these areas, you’ll hear a sound or detect a scent… or catch the sight of a sequence of subtle events, or the light or the breeze is just right… and you begin to recall memories you never had and can tell stories of a time way back when, which involve names and places and people you never actually knew in your present life. They are just memories that arrive, and you don’t know where they are from.
Some people are lucky enough to have journals or books or other family heirlooms which can connect you to the thoughts and memories of specific ancestors.
Ancestors are distant relatives connected to you directly by blood who died ages ago, who you've never met in person. Which means that your Grandma or Pa or any of your recently deceased relatives are not your Ancestors.... They will become ancestors to your great great grandchildren.
The distinction we make about Life-force is that “The Breath is the Life.”
“Prana” means “Vital Breath” it is the breath which animates the body. If you are not breathing you are dead. Of course some might make the argument that if you bleed out you die. But you are still breathing as you are bleeding out. Life Begins and Ends with the first and last breath.
So naturally Pranayama breathing techniques become highly important within the Pranic and Tantric feeding methods of the Viprimae. I’ll cover these practices in a future post.

To go along with the belief that the Blood is the memory theme. Is the concept of an old ritual practice of warriors who would slay an enemy and drink their blood from out of thier skull. It was believed that this act would bestow the warrior with the strength, vigor and vitality of a fallen warrior.
A similar practice is exhibited by the Aghori’s of india, who steal corpses from funeral pyres to consume them and bathe in the ashes of the dead. They routinely eat out of human skulls, as a way to absorb part of the vitality that remains in the body after death.

The Aghori are highly respected and held up with great awe and reverence, by travelers of the Left Hand Path. Many who adopt the Iconography of Shiva and Kali from Hinduism within the Vampire Tradition often do so with the Aghori religion in mind. Others do so because of the Thuggee religion, which was said to be violent criminal organization who were devotees to Kali.
I myself aspire to be more like the Aghori yogi’s, it just so happens that they are willing to go to extremes that I would not want to take part in. But none the less I respect their devotion to their path.
The Aghori are not known for being violent criminals. Mostly they keep to themselves and dedicate most of their time to mediation and yoga. They only eat the corpses of people who have already died. They are scavengers for corpses who stalk the funerary grounds, where familys cremate their deceased. They live on the fringes of Indian society, were they are feared.
They have been said to have the power to raise the dead.
